Family Bridge

Not receiving notifications

If Family Bridge notifications don't arrive, check the app settings, your iPhone permissions, Focus modes and your spam folder.

If you're not getting alerts for messages, events or expenses, go through these checks in order.

Settings inside Family Bridge

  1. Go to Profile > Notification settings.
  2. Make sure the main push notifications switch is on.
  3. Check that the groups you care about are on (Messaging, Calendar & events, Expenses…).
  4. Check whether Quiet hours is active right now.

iPhone permissions

  1. Open Settings > Notifications > Family Bridge and turn on Allow Notifications.
  2. Make sure no Focus or Do Not Disturb mode is silencing the app.
  3. If you use Scheduled Summary, notifications may arrive grouped later.
  4. Update Family Bridge from the App Store and make sure you're signed in.

Check the in-app inbox

All notifications are kept in the bell on Home, including in the web app. If they show up there but not on your lock screen, the problem is your phone's permissions.

Emails that don't arrive

  • Check your spam or junk folder.
  • Confirm your account email is correct.
  • Add the Family Bridge sender to your contacts so its emails aren't filtered.

If none of this works, write to info@familybridge.app with your iPhone model and iOS version.
