What does Family Bridge include for free?
The free plan isn't a time-limited trial: it never expires. It's the plan every account starts on, and it covers the day-to-day coordination of one child across two homes.
- Unlimited text messaging between parents, with conversations by child and by topic, and read receipts.
- 1 child per account, created or linked.
- 20 calendar events and 10 expenses per month; each expense can be split 50/50, by percentage or in full.
- 3 documents and 3 safe exchange locations.
- Predefined custody patterns: alternating weeks, 2-2-3, 5-2-2-5, 3-4-4-3, weekdays/weekends or every other day.
- Unlimited invitations to the other parent, by email or with the child's 6-digit code.
Does the other parent have to pay?
No. Each parent has their own account and their own plan: both can use Family Bridge for free and link up without paying. Responding is also free for everyone, with no limit: approving or rejecting an expense, confirming a payment, accepting an exchange or responding to an event.
If one parent upgrades to Pro, the other can stay on the free plan and respond to everything that's shared with them.
What isn't free: what Family Bridge Pro adds
Pro is optional. It removes the free plan's limits and adds advanced features:
- Unlimited children, events, expenses and documents.
- Chat attachments (photos, videos and files).
- The FamilyBot AI assistant.
- PDF export.
- Calendar sync.
- GPS-tracked exchanges.
- The full financial dashboard.
Family Bridge Pro costs US$5.99 per month (3-day free trial) or US$39.99 per year (7-day free trial); pricing may vary by country. More details on pricing.
