Family Bridge works best when both parents are connected: you share your children's information, the calendar, custody, expenses and conversations. There are two ways to link up.
Method 1: Email invitation
- Go to Profile > Co-parents (you can also invite during the initial setup).
- Tap Invite co-parent.
- Enter the other parent's email and, if you like, a message.
- Select the children you will share (at least one).
- Tap Send invitation.
What happens after you send the invitation
- The other parent receives an email with the invitation.
- When they create an account or sign in with that same email, the invitation shows up in Co-parents > Received, where they can Accept or Reject it.
- Once accepted, you both appear under Linked and share the information of the selected children.
- Under Sent you can Resend or cancel a pending invitation.
If the invitation doesn't arrive, ask the other parent to check their spam folder and to sign up with the same email address you sent the invitation to.
Method 2: A child's 6-digit code
Useful when the other parent already has an account, or when you'd rather send a code by WhatsApp or text message.
- Open the child's profile from Home > Children.
- Tap Link co-parent to generate a 6-digit code and share it.
- The other parent goes to Home > Children > I have a code (or I have a linking code during the initial setup) and enters the code.
- They'll see a preview with the children's names and who added them. To finish, they tap Confirm linking.
Free plan and linking
Invitations are free and unlimited. The free plan allows 1 child per account, created or linked; to share more children, the receiving account needs Family Bridge Pro.
Unlink a co-parent
In Profile > Co-parents, open the co-parent and tap Disconnect. The app will ask you to confirm.
