How to create your Family Bridge account

Create your Family Bridge account on iPhone or in the web app, finish the initial setup and add your first child in a few minutes.

Family Bridge is a co-parenting app for separated or divorced parents: it brings messages, calendar and custody, expenses, child support and your children's documents together in one place. Creating an account is free and you only need an email address.

Step 1: Choose where to use Family Bridge

  • iPhone app: download it for free from the App Store.
  • Web app: go to familybridge.app/app from any browser (computer, tablet or Android phone) and sign in with the same account.

There is no native Android app yet. On an Android phone you can use the web app in the browser, with all your conversations, events and expenses.

Step 2: Sign up

  1. Open the app and tap Create an account.
  2. Enter your first name, last name and email. Phone number is optional.
  3. Choose a password with at least 6 characters and type it again to confirm it.
  4. Check I accept the Terms and Privacy Policy.
  5. Tap Create account.

On iPhone you can also sign up with Sign in with Apple. The web app uses email and password.

Step 3: Initial setup

After signing up, a short assistant helps you get everything ready:

  1. Say how many children you want to add. If the other parent already added them and gave you a code, tap I have a linking code.
  2. Add each child with their first name, date of birth and gender (last name is optional).
  3. Invite the other parent with their email and an optional message, or tap Do this later.
  4. When you finish, you land on the Home screen.

Step 4: Complete your profile

In Profile > Edit profile you can add a photo, fix your name and add your phone number. In Profile > Language you can choose Spanish, English, Portuguese or French.

Free plan and Pro

The free account includes unlimited text messaging, 1 child, 20 events and 10 expenses per month, 3 documents and 3 safe locations. For more children or advanced features there is Family Bridge Pro; see the details on Pricing.

Next step: invite the other parent.
