Sharing a photo of the school play, a video of the game or a prescription keeps both parents in the loop. Chat attachments are a Family Bridge Pro feature.
Send attachments in a conversation (Pro)
- Open a conversation in Messages.
- Tap Attach.
- Choose Photo or video from your library, or File.
- Add some text for context if you like, and send.
- Each file can be up to 25 MB.
- If an attachment fails to send, check your connection and try again.
On the free plan, tapping Attach shows you the option to upgrade to Family Bridge Pro. Text messages remain unlimited on the free plan.
Keep important documents
For things you always need at hand (vaccination records, prescriptions, school reports, passports), use Documents instead of the chat: there you can assign them to a child, add tags and an expiration date. See Upload documents.
Best practices
- Send each file in the conversation for its topic (Medical, School, Expenses…).
- Add a line of context so the other parent knows what they're looking at.
- For expense proof, attach it as the expense receipt (Pro) so it stays next to the amount.
- Share only what's needed and protect your children's privacy.
